Yellow Tram 28
Tram 28 - A Trip From Martim Moniz To Campo Ourique
The tram number 28 runs along the classic historic core route of Lisbon, crossing the heart of the Alfama and passing in front of the old Cathedral (Sé).
The whole journey offers perfect spots and opportunities for great photos and posts. The current Route 28 is one of the most extensive in Lisbon, linking Baixa / Downtown to Graça and heading west towards the picturesque neighbourhood of Campo de Ourique, driving right through old Alfama and Estrela. The tight curves and accentuated slopes of Route 28 are not suitable for modern trams, so only the classic individual 1930s carriages manage to travel on the wavy path, making it a unique experience.
